Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell has been a chef, television host in America as well as an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network presenter with her distinctive spikey blonde hair and bubbly personality, reveals simple methods to master and removes intimidation of restaurants dishes in her show Secrets of a Restaurant. The chef Burrell is also a seasoned veteran of New York City's best restaurants. She also has studied Italy's culinary tradition and its culture along with the natural geography. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step following her graduation with the Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication in the fall of 2004 from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is where I spent the most fun time of my life. It was difficult to master how to do, or even work hard enough. After graduating at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners chef Burrell was able to spend a whole year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. It was during this time that her experience in Italy has helped her understand and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, which has had an impression on her food and culinary experience. Burrell is a celebrity ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She also was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists children with obstacles. Burrell travels extensively across the United States in her position in the capacity of mentor and an invited speaker, where she talks about her career and love of cooking. Anne often has mentioned throughout her professional career she is incredibly fortunate to be able be able to share what's truly important for her.
